Hi! I’m Luke VanderWiere, a passionate and concentrated Graphic Designer. I started college as an engineering physics major.. but that wasn’t really what I wanted to do. I love art, so I decided to switch it up. In 2013, I achieved my BA in Graphic Design while attending Fort lewis College in Durango, CO. After I graduated, I spent a couple years working hard at being a ski bum while doing freelance work for small businesses around town.. but that wasn’t enough, so I moved to Denver with no job. I got hired at AlphaGraphics stapling books together (not ideal). After about two weeks, the owner realized I had a lot of talent and that I could learn and adapt really quickly, so he made me head of the large format department where I did all the prepress, printing, production, and installations. They started giving me some in-house design projects.. then more.. then a bunch! After 6 months, I was promoted to Graphic Designer at the Downtown Denver location. Soon after, I was promoted to Senior Graphic Designer. I love design and I am always looking forward to my next project!
