I'm Luke! An energetic and passionate Art Director with over 10 years of experience in graphic design. I love creating meaningful, innovative design that helps brands stand out, connect with their audience, and leave a lasting impression.
I actually began college as an Engineering Physics major. Although I was getting good grades in all my classes, It didn't take long to realize it wasn't the right fit for me. Art and creativity had always been my passion, so I made the decision to change paths and earned my Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.
After graduating, I spent a couple of years working in the service industry while freelancing for local businesses. I knew I wanted to build a full-time career in design, so I took a leap of faith and moved to Denver without a job lined up.
I joined AlphaGraphics in an entry-level production role, stapling books together. Within a few weeks, my adaptability, and creative design skills were recognized, and I was promoted to lead the Large Format Printing department. In that role, I managed prepress, printing, production, and signage installation. Just six months later, I earned another promotion to Senior Graphic Designer at the Downtown Denver location.
After five years at AlphaGraphics, I joined Full Scale as the Senior Graphic Designer. One year later, I was promoted to Art Director, and I've now spent the past five years leading creative projects while continuing to serve as Senior Graphic Designer.
Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to build brands from the ground up, create custom packaging that stands out on the shelf, create custom cut-and-sew apparel, design environmental graphics and signage, and help businesses tell their stories through thoughtful, innovative design.
I genuinely love what I do and am always excited to take on the next creative challenge.
